Do you ever get tired of hearing nothing but turmoil and despair from the media? If you read the paper and watch the news each day you must feel as if the sky is falling.
On the flip side, the media likes to compare our current economic status to the Depression of the 1930s (all the negative elements anyway). What they don’t report is that more wealth was created during the Depression that any other time in our history. How can that be?
When Times are Tough
Tough economic times strip most people down to the core. Luxury items are replaced by the bare necessities. Jobs, assets, and possessions are lost. Companies downsize or close up shop all together, retirement accounts lose value, assets depreciate – it’s not a pretty picture.
For most people it’s difficult to even fathom that more entrepreneur opportunity exists for wealth creation during these times than during economic booms. But it does and here’s why.
Solve a Problem
During economic struggles, problems are created, needs are magnified. Now think about what entrepreneurs do. They solve problems. When backs are against the wall, as humans, we come out swinging. We hunt for solutions to those problems. Our creativity soar and solutions are manifested for thousands of people.
In other words, businesses are developed to provide solutions for people who need them most. Jobs are created and disposable income increases along with spending. The economy makes a comeback.
Entrepenuers to the Rescue
It has and always will be the small business enterpreneur who rescues the economy, not big business (most are downsizing and outsourcing jobs, neither of which is a catalyst for growth). The government (can’t “spend” your way out of recession) can’t help they usually add to the problem. Who else is there?
Look in the mirror, it’s you and I. And thanks to the internet, anyone who can turn on a computer and push a few buttons can pursue their own entrepreneur opportunity and start their own business at home.
Learn from Others
If you have a mentor and an entrepreneur training system you can do it that much faster. I truly believe the greatest wealth transfer in our history is here. Why?
